MD Diet’s excited to say that our Treat Your Mom Like a Queen event was a huge success and made quite the splash in the news. MD Diet wanted to let the world know how important moms are this past Mother’s Day.
MD Diet picked Nisa and Nancy Ledezma as the winners. Nisa’s mom Nancy had her first child at the young age of 14-years-old. Despite this challenge, Nancy raised Nisa and her four siblings to work hard through her own example. She helped her daughter Nisa become the first person in Nancy’s family to graduate from high school and receive post-secondary education. This lifetime of hard work was interrupted five-years-ago when Nancy’s husband passed away suddenly under tragic circumstances and Nancy was critically injured and hospitalized in the same year.
We wanted to give Nancy a break and pamper her and her daughter so they could be treated like the queens that they are for at least one day.
They both received a makeover with Miss America Utah, Jesse Craig at the MD Diet clinic and they both also received 6 months of free weight loss services from MD Diet. For the makeover, Nancy and Nisa got a hairstyle from pro DO in the Dapper and Dash mobile spa salon, a facial from Balance Mobile Spa, professional makeup services from Devyn Storey, relaxing manicure and pedicure by Soulstice Day Spa & Salon as well as $100 each to purchase a new outfit from Downeast to complete their transformation.
