Keto Taco Salad

Enjoy this delicious taco salad as one of your keto meals to reach your weight loss goals!

INGREDIENTS

1 lb ground grass fed beef

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1/2 teaspoon chili powder

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1/2 tablespoon paprika

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

4 cups romaine lettuce

1 medium tomato

4 oz cheddar cheese

1/2 cup cilantro

1 large avocado

1/2 cup favorite salsa

2 small limes

1 cup chopped cucumber

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat a large skillet under medium heat and coat with butter, coconut oil, or non stick spray. Add ground beef to pan and add all seasonings. Stir well and cook until browned. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  2. Build salads by adding lettuce and veggies, cheese, and sliced avocado. Top with ground meat, salsa, and a generous squeeze of lime. Toss to combine.
