MD Diet program approved Chicken Shish Kebabs

Have a happy December evening with this tasty MD Diet program chicken shish kebab recipe!

INGREDIENTS 

3 pounds chicken breasts  

(boneless/skinless) cut into 1 or 1 ½ inch  

cubes 

1 cup olive oil 

Pompeian Balsamic vinegar 

1 tablespoon Oregano 

½ tablespoon salt 

2 teaspoon garlic powder 

2 teaspoon black pepper 

1 Large Green Pepper cut into pieces 

1 Large Red Bell Pepper 

1 Large Onion 

1 cup Mushrooms 

1 cup Zucchini, cubed 

DIRECTIONS 

  1. Place the oil, balsamic vinegar, oregano, salt, garlic powder, pepper in a large bowl; using a wire whip, stir until salt is dissolved. 
  2. Place meat in a heavy duty plastic bag. Pour the marinade into the bag, seal tightly, and put in the refrigerator. 
  3. (Turn the bag occasionally to ensure proper distribution of the marinade into the meat.  Marinate Poultry 24 hours.) 
  4. Remove meat from marinade and drain briefly (discard marinade). 
  5. Thread several pieces of meat on each skewer, along with veggies alternating as the picture displays. 
  6. Grill kabobs over low heat. 
  7. Serve
