Have a happy December evening with this tasty MD Diet program chicken shish kebab recipe!
INGREDIENTSÂ
3 pounds chicken breasts Â
(boneless/skinless) cut into 1 or 1 ½ inch Â
cubesÂ
1 cup olive oilÂ
Pompeian Balsamic vinegarÂ
1 tablespoon OreganoÂ
½ tablespoon saltÂ
2 teaspoon garlic powderÂ
2 teaspoon black pepperÂ
1 Large Green Pepper cut into piecesÂ
1 Large Red Bell PepperÂ
1 Large OnionÂ
1 cup MushroomsÂ
1 cup Zucchini, cubedÂ
DIRECTIONSÂ
- Place the oil, balsamic vinegar, oregano, salt, garlic powder, pepper in a large bowl; using a wire whip, stir until salt is dissolved.Â
- Place meat in a heavy duty plastic bag. Pour the marinade into the bag, seal tightly, and put in the refrigerator.Â
- (Turn the bag occasionally to ensure proper distribution of the marinade into the meat. Marinate Poultry 24 hours.)Â
- Remove meat from marinade and drain briefly (discard marinade).Â
- Thread several pieces of meat on each skewer, along with veggies alternating as the picture displays.Â
- Grill kabobs over low heat.Â
- Serve
